Just another WordPress.com site

About 100 days ago, the thought of competing in a run was a pipe dream. I had mentioned starting running in Nashville since everyone and their grandma runs around here. I thought it would be fun to train, try to accomplish something new. I slowly, painfully and with lots of ibuprofen gained speed, distance and cardiac workload. My breathlessness turned to jubilant war-cries as music row and I did battle. Today, about 100 days later and 32 pounds lighter, I am running my first FIRST 5K. Here’s to many more.
Thanks to all my friends, putting up with me…
